1. Who can volunteer?
All of our volunteers need to be at least 14 years of age. 2. What do Hearts' volunteers do?
The sky is the limit! Our amazing volunteers work in the lessons, on the board of directors, on the garden committee, facility upkeep team, marketing, fundraising, event planning, office assistance, auxiliary board, horse care...just to name a few. 3. Do I need experience working with horses or people with special needs?
NO. We have a great training program that all of our lesson and horse care teams are required to go through. We teach you all you need to know and more so you can be confident and safe while working with our riders and horses.4. How do I get started?
Attend a new volunteer orientation, usually the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30. RSVP to: Volunteers@HeartsSB.org
